I was commissioned by Charlotte de Beus to create a visual identity for a unique concert concept in Nobel, Leiden, intended for people that have sound-, light-, or other sensitivities. the venue was transformed into a low stimulus environment, with dimmed light and a lowered volume amongst other adjustments.
the visual identity needed to be fitting for a concert, yet also evoke a feeling of calm. an interesting challenge for me to design something that is low stimulus to the target audience yet does not lean into the 'overly minimal' stigma.
prikkelarm is Dutch for 'low stimulus'.
